Back in the day, nobody gave this sort of thing a second thought, as you well know. When I was in high school, I and a bunch of buddies were "caught" skinny dipping in the reservoir. The cop knew all of us. We all knew him. He just said "We drink that water. Get outta there." I swam naked with him the following week at the YMCA. No fuss, no muss.
