I've spent a long time looking at these photos and I think it's the same model in both. However, I'm more than happy to spend some more time studying them in detail. They are great photos and he is / they are really good looking.
Well this was a fun one, Bob. I too thought they were maybe different guys. My software suggested Fred Deluca for the first photo and Tom Talbot for the second. Now I'm convinced they are both of Tom Talbot (and I had the 1st one misnamed as Fred Deluca, hence the false match).
I's love to send you my 2 other photos of Tom Talbot. There is a beautiful one where he is lying prone and he is smiling. It appears to be from a negative with the words: ANSCO SAFETY FILM running along one side.
Another 50s-looking model...and he is super smooth.
