Image 1- d’abord un bon verre, puis la fête commence.
Image 2- l’homme de gauche a envie d’être plus intime avec son ami.

  2. Reflections in a camera’s lens.
Before he came out west to California in 1947, before he became Bruce of Los Angeles, Bruce Henry Bellas was a Nebraska schoolteacher with a penchant for photography.
Out on the byways and roads in the Mid-West of the 1930’s and 1940’s, Bruce Bellas would travel at the wheel of his 1936 Nash (and later a 1940 Buick) with camera in hand, ready to pickup any willing man who came his way. From hitchhikers, farmers, military men, salesmen to collegians, any willing man would do. Photographed in the rooms of motor courts (as motels were called then) or on the side of desolate country roads, willing men did the bidding of photographer Bellas and his camera.
From near nude to very explicit fare, a window on the unspoken world of male sexuality of that time.✨
