Yesterday when I returned home from food shopping I found my twin brother dead in his bed. He had been in failing health for a while. We shared everything and he was my whole world. I don't know what the rest of my life looks like right now. - Bob

A collection of photos of bodybuilder John Gallagher by Al Urban kindly provided by Brian E., after I posted one of him as Atlas a few days ago. Brian's collection also has a version of that one but with the genitals blurred out, so I have left it out of this post. The top photo of John G. holding a vase has been cleaned up a bit by me as the print had quite a few creases and flaws. Thank you Brian!
American actor Chuck Connors was one of the few athletes who played both Pro Baseball and in the National Basketball Association. In 1952 the Chicago Cubs sent Connors to the minor leagues to play for their top farm team, the Los Angeles Angels. Is it possible he paid a visit to Bob Mizer's Athletic Model Guild compound in LA? Playing baseball near Hollywood proved fortunate, as he was spotted by an MGM casting director and subsequently signed for the 1952 Tracy–Hepburn film Pat and Mike, performing in the role of a police captain. He is best known for the hit Western TV series The Rifleman, which ran from from 1958 to 1963.
Don't worry, Cris is only shaving his face, he reports from his well appointed Italian home. It looks like a rainy Sunday there, same as we are having in New England.
I found a few of Tom Wayne that I haven't seen before. By Bruce in the 1960s, I believe.
It's been a while since we heard from our correspondent Cris in Italy. He sends along these photos with a note that he likes showing his tan.
