These appear to be documentary style photos of a medical massage therapist at work on a wounded GI, perhaps at a military field hospital in the WWII era? I posted the bottom photo about two years ago. The top one is new to me.

  1. Both massage photos were taken by LIFE photographer Carl Mydans in 1938. They're from a photo set in the LIFE magazine archive called "Washington Red Skins at Virginia Training Camp." -Larry
